A. OPENING THOUGHTS/OBSERVATIONS:
On a break at work and entering these thoughts in. I’m getting better at committing to these entries even when in the midst of every day life. It is very rewarding to know there’s only one day left in this Quest. There are new thoughts coming into my field of consciousness to include in this book. Ideas like the quality of your thoughts will help you have a more effective workout. I’m also very serious about pursuing the idea of a 9 day Quest, modifying the nine phases to accomplish small tasks en route to a 30 day Quest.
Life continues to get richer from my interactions with others on my Question Circle. I go to bed at night pondering deeper questions, as well as how to best serve others who ask for answers. Most importantly I’m being productive in helping others find their own answers within. That is most rewarding.
A Course in Miracles is allowing me to focus on “Light” and “Strength” and how they are one. The “Light” described is not one that can be seen with the body’s eyes but rather the perception of Source, or Love, in every moment. It seems that once I focus on “Feeling” over seeing I’m on track to perceiving the divine in everyone. The text also describes the meaningful interactions with others as my “creation”. This feels true in that new connections and realities are being co-created with this new found openness with my new friends. Again, according to my discovery of the Giving/Receiving Dynamic, I cherish these moments as treasures. I can give riches and will receive all I need to feel secure.
B. DREAM ENTRY:
I was at a rich friend’s house, reminiscent of the “rich kid’s” house that I used to play at as a child. It was full of video games, people, distractions, parties. Every one experienced an intoxication. I myself became intoxicated and had memory lapses. The more I fought to retain those memories, the more I realized that those memories were not “me”. I woke up the next day, completely sober, lucid. I crossed through the very large, wide bedroom to the front door, ready to leave. The parents and “guardians” of the rich kid’s world told me to keep playing and eating. They were also intoxicated, like the kids who were all still asleep. I told them “no thank you”, my parents were about to pick me up.
I think the interpretation of this dream by now goes without saying.
C. Today’s Emotional Exercises are very specific.
Exercise 1: Do
3-4 repetitions of each emotion between sets. These are general
emotional calibrations and not yet specified for an intention. (Representing DESERTS)
Exercise 2: Same as Exercise 1. (DESERTS)
Exercise 3: Now do 3-4 repetitions of emotions for intentions from this past 60 Day Quest. (Representing PLOT TWISTS)
Exercise 4: Same as Exercise 3 but with intentions from the new Quest. (PLOT TWISTS)
Exercise 5: Do See/Hear/Feel to continue the calibrations from Exercise 3. (Representing DARK NIGHT)
Exercise 6: Do See/Hear/Feel to continue the calibrations from Exercise 4. (DARK NIGHT)

The Workout
Focus on Supersets: Chest, Triceps
1. Exercise 1: Bench Press with Dumbbell Press
4 Sets of 12 Reps
Do Emotional Calibrations (3-4 repetitions of one emotion):
After Set 1: Emotion is Willingness
(a) I’m willing to do these calibrations.
I’m willing to begin my new Quest.
I’m willing to be focused on my intentions throughout the day.
After Set 2: Emotion is Acceptance
(b) I accept that I have a choice to make in order to manifest my next Quest.
I accept that doing all 9 steps of the Quest give me the best odds at making this Quest a success.
I accept the choice to complete this Quest that has been successful as a necessary event and shouldn’t be underestimated.
After Set 3: Emotion is Clarity
(c) I’m clear about where I am now and therefore what I need to do next.
I’m clear that a 9 day Quest is calling to me for exploration in the final chapter in this book.
I’m clear that it is important to end this 30 day cycle and acknowledge whatever mastery was attained in these past 30 days.
After Set 4/Between Sets: Emotion is Skip
(d) I feel pretty high on the emotional scale so I can finish these calibrations in the next exercise.
2. Exercise 2: Incline Bench Press with Dumbbell Incline Fly

After Set 1: Emotion is Love
(a) I love that love and wisdom are really the same thing.
I love that mastering this Quest can bend the rules of time.
I love and appreciate myself for getting to DAY 29.
After Set 2: Emotion is Joy
(b) Joy is knowing that thought and creation really do happen simultaneously.
Joy is transcending the ego, not only because it’s wise but because it is who we truly are.
Joy is transcending the Quest process itself, knowing it is only a tool for the ego to wrap itself around until Source reveals itself.
After Set 3: Emotion is Peace
(c) Peace is knowing Source.
Peace is knowing your brother.
Peace is recognizing both in Self.
After Set 4/Between Sets: Emotion is Enlightenment
(d) Source.
3. Exercise 3: Dips with Decline Machine Press
4 Sets of 15 Reps
Now do 3-4 emotional calibration repetitions for your specific intentions from the Last 30 Day Quest.
After Set 1: Intention is Increased Confidence
Emotion is Trust
(a) I trust my confidence in this material will lead to a new career.
I am willing to share this material with others in confidence.
I accept that my writing is imperfect, but the material is inspired.
After Set 2: Intention is Rich Spiritual Life
Emotion is Clarity
(b) I am clear about the importance of focus for the purpose of creation.
I love my connection, all that manifests is a creation of this “feeling”.
Joy is sharing my creations with others.

Emotion is Willingness
(c) I am willing to share this as soon as this draft is finished.
I accept that I am committing to an ongoing editing process and intend to enjoy forever tweaking this work.
I’m clear now that sharing this material will open some kind of door.

Emotion is Love
(d) I love who I am today.
Joy is sharing this person with others and seeing Source in others.
Peace is allowing that connection to flourish.

I’m angry that I’m not a good enough writer to pull this off.

I trust that I can generate one group from this.

(b) I see numbers, modest at first, tallying up the number of people visiting a future web site.
I hear people’s questions about the coaching process, the fitness exercises, and the theory behind the interaction of physical with the emotional/mental.
I feel at peace with my daily meditations.

Emotion is Clarity
(c) I see my devotions as riches to share.
I hear my deepest, inner voice as that of Source.
I feel certain.
After Set 4/Between Sets: Intention is Giving/Receiving Dynamic
Emotion is Clarity
(d) I see my knowledge in the form of my writing, my courses, and each page of this book as a storeroom of riches ready to be shared.
I hear in every voice what someone truly is looking for.
I feel the Light as infinite abundance. "The Quest" is a means for converting the “symbolic code” of this Light into “tangible” wealth in my life for the purposes of being fully present as a father.
